Malinová, K. Developement of motivation and satisfaction of employees in Inditex firm branches in Brno. Brno: Mendel university in Brno, 2022. The goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out the level of motivation and satisfaction of the employees in Inditex firm branches in Brno through survey and internal analysis of the business. The literary research consists of overview of professional starting points in connection with work satisfaction and motivation of the employees. Analytical part consists of internal analysis of the company through the 7S method and evaluation of the survey. Suitable recommendations for development of motivation and satisfaction of the employees will be proposed in the end, and these recommendations will be economically evaluated.

Analysis of the Inditex Company and Its International Presence

The thesis comprises the presentation of the company as a whole and also its unique brands. The first chapter presents the company and describes the company's global expansion. It also includes a presentation of the Board of Directors and the most important financial indicators. The second chapter comprises the description of unique brands and the process of manufacturing products. Furthermore it includes the environmental attitude of Inditex. Then it is followed by a marketing mix and an explanation of the term Fast Fashion, which is nowadays really important for the whole company. This chapter also includes a comparison with its main competitors across the world and also the biggest competitors on the Spanish market. The chapter is ended by a SWOT analysis of the Inditex Company. The third chapter comprises the Inditex´s activity on the Czech market. This chapter is a description of the most important financial indicators for the Czech market. This chapter also describes the results of a conducted survey, my own opinions about it and the brand as whole.

Zara is one of the most successful and fastest growing retail apparel company in the world. This retail chain is regarded as a pioneer of fast fashion companies whose main feature is quick response to new fashion trends, launching several collections a year and continuous assortment refreshing. Zara has entered the Czech Republic in 2001. On the local market the company presents itself as a premium brand whereas in Western Europe Zara is seen as a middle class brand. The company Zara Česká republika operates only six stores and its sales, compared with the largest clothing chains operating on the Czech market, are rather low. The diploma thesis has two main objectives. One goal is to describe and analyse the business model of the retail chain Zara as many experts believe that the company's business model is the reason of its tremendous success. The second major goal of this thesis is to determine how Czech women perceive the retail chain Zara in comparison with other apparel chains operating on the Czech market and to verify the hypothesis that the Czech female consumers are not satisfied with quality-price ratio of goods offered by chain Zara. The secondary objective of the thesis is to characterize the apparel business and to explain the concept of fast fashion.
